Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 20, 2026
This policy explains how Acne Care Network CO, Ltd, a Colorado limited liability company, d/b/a ACN Co. ("ACN Co.," "we," "us") collects, uses and shares personal information through our website (acnco.com), our online store, our booking tools, and our emails and texts. Treatment records from our studios are kept separately in our clinical system and are not part of the website or online store.

Information we collect
- Account and contact details: name, email, phone, shipping and billing address, and sign-in details.
- Orders and bookings: what you buy or book, order history, returns and messages with us.
- Payment: processed by Shopify Payments, Cherry and other payment providers. We don't store full card numbers.
- Client approval: for client-only products, we match your sign-in to our studio client list and record only whether your account is approved.
- Skin concerns: if you choose to share them (for example, in a skin quiz or an order note).
- Device and usage: IP address, browser, device, pages viewed, and cookies and similar tools that run the site and measure traffic.
- Marketing: whether you signed up for our emails or texts, and how you interact with them.

How we use it
To book and provide services, process and ship orders, handle returns, verify client-only access, give customer service, keep the site and store secure and prevent fraud, meet legal and tax duties, improve the site, and send marketing you've agreed to.

Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run our business, under contracts that limit their use:
- Boulevard (booking and studio records). Your treatment and clinical records are kept in Boulevard under contractual privacy and security commitments.
- Shopify (online store platform), payment and financing providers, and shipping carriers and fulfillment partners (including brands that ship directly).
- Klaviyo (email and text messages). Klaviyo receives only your contact details and your marketing consent choices.
- Google Analytics and Meta (analytics and advertising). These tools run only on our marketing pages, never on our booking, account, intake, skin-quiz or patient pages, and only as your cookie choices allow.
The only information that passes from our studio records to our online store is whether you are an approved ACN Co. client. If you report a reaction or a defective product, we may share the details needed with the brand for safety or warranty reporting. We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect rights and safety, or in a business sale.

Health information stays out of marketing
We never send health information, such as treatment records, intake answers, skin concerns or the services you book, to Klaviyo, Google, Meta or any other marketing or advertising tool. We do not use health-related information for targeted advertising.

No sale of your data
We do not sell personal information.

Cookies and your choices
Our site uses cookies that it needs to work, plus analytics and marketing cookies only if you allow them. When you first visit, our cookie banner lets you accept or decline analytics and marketing cookies, and you can change your choice at any time on our Cookie Preferences page or in your browser settings. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, our cookie banner honors it automatically as your request to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale or sharing of your personal information for that browser, and marketing cookies stay off.

Marketing emails and texts
You can unsubscribe from emails at any time with the link in the email. For texts, reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies. Consent to marketing is not required to buy. We do not share your mobile number or text consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

How long we keep it
Order, payment and tax records: 7 years. Account details: while your account is open and up to 3 years after your last activity. Skin-concern information you share online: up to 2 years, or sooner if you ask us to delete it. Marketing records: until you opt out, plus proof of your choice. We then delete or de-identify it. Treatment records are kept as long as required by law.

Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information. No method is perfectly secure, so please keep your sign-in private.

Children and teens
Our site and store are not for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information online. Teens 13 to 17 may use the store only through a parent or guardian, consistent with our Membership Terms.

Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, get a copy of it, or opt out of sale, targeted advertising or profiling. Email care@acnco.com. We'll verify your request and respond within 45 days (we may extend once by 45 days if needed and will tell you why). You may use an authorized agent. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying "Appeal" to our response, and we'll answer within 45 days. We won't treat you differently for using your rights.

Colorado residents
Colorado residents have the rights above under the Colorado Privacy Act where it applies. We honor these requests and recognized opt-out signals (such as GPC) whether or not the law requires it. If we deny an appeal, you may contact the Colorado Attorney General.

Consumer health data notice (Washington, Nevada and Connecticut)
Some information may count as "consumer health data" under the Washington My Health My Data Act, Nevada law (SB 370) and the Connecticut Data Privacy Act, such as skin concerns you share or skincare purchases that reveal a skin condition. We do not currently ship to Washington State.
- What we collect: the products you buy, skin concerns you choose to share, and whether you're an approved ACN Co. client.
- Where it comes from: you, your orders, and our studio client list (approval status only).
- Why: to fill and ship your order, verify client-only access, answer your questions and handle reactions or returns. We collect only what's needed for these purposes unless you consent to more.
- Who we share it with: the service providers listed above (never marketing or advertising tools), and a brand when you report a reaction or defect. We ask for your consent before any other sharing.
- We never sell consumer health data, and we don't use it for targeted advertising or geofencing.
- Your rights: confirm whether we have your consumer health data, see it and the list of third parties we shared it with, withdraw consent, and ask us to delete it. Email care@acnco.com with the subject "Consumer health data." We respond within 45 days. If we decline, you can appeal by replying "Appeal," and you may contact your state Attorney General.

Changes
We may update this policy. We'll post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date, and we'll ask for consent where the law requires it.
